Eros International today announced the theatrical release of its next forthcoming film, a romantic comedy “Shaadi Kar Ke Phas Gaya Yaar” – the latest Salman Khan blockbuster, also starring Shilpa Shetty, Reema Lagoo and Mohnish Behl. The film is directed by K.S. Adhiyman and the music is by Daboo Malik and Sajid-Wajid. Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar is a feel good movie, slated to be a bittersweet replica of every married couple’s life. Ayaan (Salman Khan), a middle class Mumbai lad, falls for Ahana (Shilpa Shetty), a high-flying model from a wealthy family. Despite their cultural differences, the two fall in love, get married and look forward to a contented future. However, as time passes it become clear to Ahana that there are vast differences between the two of them. It reminds one of Chalte Chalte and Sathiya, and drives home the point that familial issues are at the core of Bollywood. With Salman at his comic-best, Shaadi Karke is a must-see fun movie for the whole family. Releasing nationwide on 4th August, 2006.

Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar is a comedy-drama for the whole family, at the heart of which is a social dilemma – can love overcome cultural differences? The film stars Salman Khan as Ayaan, a young, handsome, dynamic man from a middle class family who meets Ahana, played by Shilpa Shetty, a beautiful model from a liberal, ultra-rich family that are part of India’s high society. The emphasis is on Ayaan, a down to earth man with a strong belief in a united and happy family, to maintain his cool and keep his wife and family together. |
