Punjab2000’s sneak peek at Exclusive South Asian and Middle Eastern Art Exhibition in Buckingham Gate

Amrit was invited to a private art viewing by one of the Middle-East’s leading art consultancies at The Taj Hotel in London’s Buckingham Gate on 7 October. The exclusive South Asian and Middle Eastern exhibition marks the launch of Art Select in the UK.

The first exhibition open to the public will be held at The Taj Hotel, 54 Buckingham Gate, London SW1E on Wednesday 8 October from 12pm – 6pm.

Art Select UK is the British arm of the Bahraini-based company Art Select. The initiative aims to encourage and advise individuals and companies on viewing art as an investment, as well as showcasing the work of many of the most exciting and talented artists from South Asia and the Middle East through the hosting of regular exhibitions.

Art Select UK aims to encourage and increase the accessibility of art as an investment and will be based on the same format as their Middle Eastern counterpart. The emphasis will remain on establishing alliances internationally to promote art and culture from India, Pakistan and the Middle East. Through their exhibitions and this platform for emerging artists, Art Select UK is designed to make art accessible to a wider audience.

Founded in Bahrain, the initiative was launched and has thrived on the strength and private passion of its Founder and Managing director Kanika Subberwal. Art Select UK will be headed up by Pupinder Ghatora, a successful businessman and art aficionado who will be coming on board as Art Select UK’s Managing Director.
