Healing Little Hearts charity Present “Give With Love” Charity Ball 2015

The “Give with Love” Charity Ball will take place on Saturday 14th February 2015 at the Platinum Suite, Cobden Street, Leicester. HLH are inviting members of the local Leicestershire community and beyond to come together to enjoy an evening of entertainment and fundraising. The evening will include a 3 course meal, complimentary wine on every table, DJ and entertainment provided by “Signature” – the world’s number 1 Michael Jackson Tribute Act, as seen on Britain’s Got Talent and the London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony.

The aim of the ball is to help raise much needed funds for HLH (charity no. 1130194) to continue to send medical teams to India to provide free lifesaving heart surgery for babies and young children. Every two minutes a baby is born that requires heart surgery. This translates to 60,000 children with heart problems that have no access to the desperately needed care that will allow them to live long and healthy lives. It costs only £500 to save a child’s life. All money raised goes directly to saving as many lives as possible.

Local businesses and industries are being approached with a request for support for this event in the form of direct sponsorship and/or donations for the charity auction or rae taking place on the evening.

Dr Sanjiv Nichani, Founder of HLH and Consultant Paediatrician at Leicester Children’s Hospitals said “The committee are very excited about the ball and are actively seeking sponsorship from a number of companies. Over the last 7 years we have gone from strength to strength and as at the end of 2014 have completed 525 life saving heart operations in 6 hospitals in India. We hope this event will enable us to push on from here and hope that 2015 will be our biggest year to date”.
