Participants comprised an international group representing the following countries: Belgium, Brazil, India, Iran, Kenya, New Zealand, UK, USA and included three members of the Pratham UK Board of Trustees.

Mumbai, 5th May 2009: Shri Arjan Lulla, founder of leading Indian film studio Eros International and member of Indian Film Exporter Association was conferred the Dadasaheb Phalkeaward for the globalization of Indian cinema at a glittering ceremony in Mumbai on Monday. He was bestowed the prestigious award on the occasion of the 140th birth anniversary of Dadasaheb Phalke on 4th May 2009.
