This year sees the 60th anniversary of the partition of the India subcontinent in 1947, when India won its independence and Pakistan became a nation in its own right. Now we want to paint a picture of how that legacy has shaped your lives.

How have you got to where you are today? What makes you who you are? Asian Nation is a collection of your pictures, videos and audio stories of British Asian Identity today – told through the stories handed down from generation to generation. Most importantly these are stories never heard before, stories that make YOU who you are today.
