At a recent promotion tour for the film Manje Bistre, Punjabi singer-turned-actor Gippy Grewal said “The story of Manje Bistre depicts the entertaining features of Punjabi weddings. The wedding is not an affair of a few hours. In rural Punjab, the preparation starts several days before the wedding day and the whole village participates with zeal.”
“The collection of beds and bed sheets for guests before weddings is an entertaining task for youth. This movie will show the romance and entertainment as a part of rural Punjabi wedding”, said the film’s music director Jay K (Jassi Katyal).
Directed by Baljit Singh Deo, Manje Bistre stars Gippy Grewal, Sonam Bajwa, Dilpreet Dhillon, Jaggi Singh and Punjab’s popular comedian Gurpreet Ghuggi and is in cinemas tomorrow.
