Time to Reflect: Ashika Pratt – Vogue India

Fashion Model and New Zealander Ashika Pratt features in Vogue India’s May Edition in “Time to Reflect” was discovered by a pageant scout at the age of 15.

Ashika being second runner up for the Miss and Mr. Howick pageant felt that the world of beauty pageants just wasn’t for her. She soon found an agent and agency she’s still with today at Nova Models.

Pratt began with a television commercial for “Glassons” which is a clothing retailer in New Zealand, and in the same year she made her runway debut.

Signing with Anima Creative Management, Pratt has been a non stop force in the fashion industry! She has graced the cover of Indian Vogue and Femina, appeared in editorials for Elle, Harpars Bazaar, Marie Claire, Vogue and Femina. Not to mention, Pratt was also chosen to take part in the 2010 Kingfisher Calendar, and has also walked the ramp at Lakme Fashion Week!

Elle magazine had named her one of their Sexiest Models, and was named in Vogues Fashion Power List in 2010

In 2011 Vogues special travel issue featuring Ashika on the cover shot in South Africa sold out! Vogue said “She is the hottest new face in town. This New Zealand born-and-raised beauty is part-girl-next-door and part-temptress. As far as we’re concerned that’s a winning combination on any continent.”

Since then Ashika has been featured  on the front cover of other fashion magazines around the world.
