‘TEES MAAR KHAN’ STEALS A PLACE AMONG TOP 3 HIGHEST PAID PREVIEW GROSSERS

The blockbuster release of the festive season, ‘Tees Maar Khan’ has experienced Box Office wonders all over the world, this Christmas! ‘Sheila’s hot youth’ beat off the UK chill as ‘Tees Maar Khan’ succeeded in stealing a place in the Top 3 highest paid preview grossers ever for an Indian film in the UK with a phenomenal GBP 112,251!

Directed by Farah Khan and featuring superstars Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, ‘Tees Maar Khan’ previews also managed to gross over $90,000 in the US, claiming record openings for an Akshay Kumar film in the territory. Adding to that, ‘Tees Maar Khan’ has had one of the highest openings for a Hindi film in the Gulf and experienced the highest opening day for a Hindi film in Australia and Pakistan.  

In India, the film has taken a 100% opening at most multiplexes and has emerged the highest opener for Akshay Kumar, Farah Khan and UTV Motion Pictures.

Synopsis

Only once in a blue moon is such a great criminal born who is fearless as well as shameless. Now is the blue moon and the great criminal is ‘Tees Maar Khan’. He steals, cons and cheats with such bewildering audacity that even shame shies away from him. He and his motley crew, comprising ‘Dollar’, ‘Soda’ and ‘Burger’, have managed to keep police forces the world over on their toes. Then one fine day, international antique smugglers, the Johri Brothers, assign ‘Tees Maar Khan’ the biggest heist of his life – to rob antiques worth 500 crore rupees from a heavily guarded, moving train. Will Khan and his merry gang, with some unwitting support from his wannabe-actress girlfriend, Anya, and a greedy Bollywood superstar be able to pull off the greatest heist in history?
