Remittances to India increase by 400% as Diwali approaches

India is a major destination for money remittance transfers, with money sent from all over the world. The period in which the Indian Festival of Lights, Diwali, falls usually sees a surge in the amount of transfers made, and with Diwali due on 26th October this year, there are likely to be thousands of people preparing to send money to their friends and relatives back home.
