Eton Half Olymplic Tri-athletes support Pratham to bring literacy

Child literacy is an indispensable means for effective social and economic participation, contributing to human development and poverty reduction.
The right to education is also a fundamental human right – UNESCO  33 tri-athletes took part in the Eton Half Olympic Triathlon on Saturday 23rd May at Dorney Lake, Berkshire to raise funds for Pratham the international charity dedicated to helping illiterate and under privileged children in India with reading, writing and basic arithmetic.  Participants comprised an international group representing the following countries: Belgium, Brazil, India, Iran, Kenya, New Zealand, UK, USA and included three members of the Pratham UK Board of Trustees
