STERLING COMMUNICATIONS WINS BUSINESS OF THE YEAR AWARD AT THE INDIA INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION AWARDS

Each year, The India International Forum honours the people of Indian origin Managing Director of Sterling Communications, Natasha Mudhar, was presented with the accolade by His Excellency Nalin Surie, High Commissioner of India. Also in attendance were Lord Swraj Paul and Sir Mota Singh QC who received the Pride of India Award. throughout the world who have gained excellence across the sectors of:  
 
Administration, Art and Culture, Business, Education, Industry, Judiciary/ Law, Literature/ Media, Medicine, Legislature, Science, Social Services and Sport. Sterling Communications was honoured for its outstanding contribution to the international media sector and unparalleled work in raising the share of voice for diversity issues across the globe.  
Nominations were made by individuals from across the world and submitted to the panel of judges which comprised: Mr Asoke Mukherji, Deputy High Commissioner of India; Lord Amir Bhatia OBE; Mr Tony Deep Wouhra MBE, Chairman & Managing Director, East End Foods Ltd.; Mrs Kamel Hothi, Head of Niche Markets, Lloyds TSB Bank; and Hardyal S Luther. 
 
On receiving the respected Award, Natasha Mudhar, Managing Director of Sterling Communications said, We are delighted to have received the coveted Business of the Year Award.
Sterling Communications was Founded by Ms Teji Singh, one of the first women from an Ethnic background to set up a full service communications agency in the UK, at a time when stereotypes surrounding women in business, especially in marketing professions, were rife. With great courage and conviction, Teji ‘independently’ built Sterling into a multi award-winning. For this very reason, it is a huge honour to be recognised by an esteemed institution such as TIFF. Our heartful gratitude to the panel of judges and to Mr Hardyal Singh Luther.”
