Retro is definitely in so check out ‘Socha Hai’ from the forthcoming film Baadshaho – starring Ajay Devgn & Emraan Hashmi

Retro is definitely in, and the new trend of Retro Mixes of classic tracks are the big new thing in Bollywood – and the forthcoming new film Baadshaho has taken an all-time favourite from Deewar and given it a new lease of life.

‘Socha Hai’ is already proving incredibly popular with nearly 4 million hits on YouTube in just two days! The song, which features Emraan Hashmi and Esha Gupta, is a recreated version of Kishore Kumar’s hit number ‘Kehdun Tumhe’ from Deewar.

Set during Indira Gandhi’s ‘Emergency’ era of 1975, against the backdrop of huge political and social unrest across the country, Baadshaho transports us to Rani Gitanjali’s (Ileana D’Cruz) palace in Jaipur, which is raided for gold and she is arrested for withholding it without declaration. The government seizes the gold and decides to transfer it via road to Delhi in a truck with officer Singh (Vidyut) a cocky cop in charge of the whole operation. What happens on the journey remains to be seen…

Catch ‘Socha Hai’ below:

Baadshaho stars Ajay Devgn, Ileana D’Cruz, Emraan Hashmi, Esha Gupta, Sanjay Mishra and Vidyut Jammwal.
