'Punjaab'Ch' - Video - Foji Gill

‘Punjaab’Ch’ – Foji Gill (Full HD Video)

After sensationally breaking through in 2010, UK Born Panjabi singer Foji Gill launched his highly anticipated debut solo album titled ‘Dafa Hoja’ on September 30th.

The album includes the now cult anthem single ‘Dafa Hoja’ featuring Miss Pooja, a song which has already spent a remarkable 24 continuous weeks in the Official Top 40  Asian Download Chart,  alongside being one of the dancefloor anthems of the year. The album also features the chart topping single ‘Bruah’, the traditional wedding boliyan fused with Foji’s catchy lyrics that provided the perfect single for this year’s wedding season.

The multi-talented Foji has composed, written and produced majority of the album himself, showing lyrical variety with the conscious ‘Shaheed Bhagat Singh’ to the emotional ‘Sajnaa’; a melodramatic love song, which features an extra ‘Eastern Mix’ sure to add an extra dimension to the album.

Never one to be afraid to experiment; the album features a wide range of sounds, including the dub step influenced ‘Kamlee’, a single which can only be described as eccentric and diverse. Also featuring on the album is three specially crafted remixes, each adding their own special musical dimension.

The album is supported by the new single ‘Punjaab’ch’; another high quality single, written, composed and produced by Foji himself. The song is backed up with another high quality video, a trend that Foji Gill is synonymous with.

With the demand still high for original CD’s, the album comes with a special 12 page booklet to supplement the music. The booklet contains lyrics of each track phonetically spelt, making it easier for fans to practise their own Panjabi. A section of the booklet is dedicated to describe the meaning of each song in depth. Just to add extra value to the CD version, for the first time ever in a Bhangra album, the cover is a specially designed lenticular image, an exceptional addition you do not want to miss out on!
