Being told that you're going to be performing at the BBC Electric Proms is not something that sinks in overnight. From the moment I was asked, I felt like the biggest opportunity in my life so far had just fallen in to my hands.
But I have to admit, it was also partially terrifying! In all my life, I have never actually stood on stage singing to an audience (apart from when I was very young, but that's another story).
