The first highlight was the now traditional Fashion Night hosted by Mercedes‑Benz and VOGUE in the Restaurant Borchardt, where a veritable who’s who of the fashion scene gathered for a creative get-together.

On Thursday top model Karolina Kurkova and star photographer Craig McDean, in conversation with Anders Sundt Jensen, Vice President Brand Communications Mercedes-Benz Cars, presented the fascinating new visual motif for Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Another resounding hit was the “Made in Sweden” show presented by Mercedes-Benz as part of its growing commitment to fashion.

Planning will commence shortly for the next Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and the new motif and shows are already generating a frisson of anticipation.

Mercedes-Benz can again look back on a successful title sponsorship of this season’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin.

As in the previous season the presentation of the 2011/2012 Autumn/Winter Collections also attracted a host of opinion leaders, journalists and stars to the Spree to draw inspiration from the action in the event marquee on Bebelplatz.
