India’s Leading Action Hero, Akshay Kumar, signed to play ‘Dawood’ in ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai 2’

The 2010 film was acclaimed by critics and audiences alike, and the excitement is already building around the forthcoming sequel and superstar Akshay’s role in the film. Unlike its prequel, the film will feature lots of high-octane action sequences, for which Akshay Kumar is the perfect candidate.  
Superstar Akshay, whose demand among filmmakers is red hot, is currently in talks with the bosses and is likely to bolster the franchisee’s image once he gets on board. Director, Milan Luthria’s sequel will continue with the original tale of ‘Shoaib’ (Dawood) and how he builds up his empire following the death of ‘Sultan’ (Haji) in the smash hit first installment. The director is currently involved in intense sittings with the actor in preparation for the role.
