Dil Di Awaaz – Jay Randhawa ft. Deep Jandu

Newcomer Jay Randhawa is set to make his debut as singer and song writer with his forthcoming single ‘Dil Di Awaaz’ out on 24th March 2016 via E3UK Records.

Born and raised in Amritsar, Punjab and now based in Toronto, Jay has teamed up with highly acclaimed Canadian singer and producer Deep Jandu. 

With his academic studies and profession as a photographer always taking precedence, music has always played second fiddle, until now. 

From an early age, Jay has had a huge passion for singing. Jay began by recording ‘mashups’ with friends whilst playing the guitar and spent a lot of his time listening and understanding international genres such as RnB & Hip Hop via internet platforms Youtube and Soundcloud. 

Jay has worked hard on his vocals and songwriting and now feels it is his time to showcase his talent. With his long term aim to be a successful Punjabi & Hindi Playback singer, Jay hopes to make music that will leave a lasting impression. 

Following meetings with numerous music producers and directors, it was an introduction via a mutual friend to Deep Jandu which has brought this collaboration to the forefront. Deep himself a renowned artist firmly believes that Jay will be one the biggest acts from Canada to grace the big stage.

‘Dil Di Awaaz’ is a powerful slow jam, that offers a desi touch to an urban feel. The video is shot on location in Canada.
