The summer of 2009 is filled with colour and effortless chic. Carmen March has created a collection which blends male shirt fabrics, in 100% organic cotton and linen, with contemporary feminine silhouettes.

Dotty trousers, trouser-skirts, very short dresses and skirts, and draped designs and flounces which emerge from unexpected places form part of the new mode du jour. Inroads are made into above-ankle lengths and references to the new romantic style of the 80s filter through in a refreshing way. Long evening dresses combined with flat shoes and accessories in natural materials invite a new sophistication which, to sum up, is the target of the new Carmen March woman.
