Fresh out of West London, dynamic duo Ambi & Dilly make their highly anticipated debut with ‘Chanjara’ featuring the powerful vocals of Nirmal Sidhu. The track is set for a worldwide release on Thursday 26th May 2016 via E3UK Records.
Ambi, hot off touring from the phenomenal success of his award winning album ‘Cut Like a Diamond’, which featured hit songs ‘Feem’ by Jazzy B and ‘Shaukeen Jatt’ by Nirmal Sidhu teams up with his partner in crime and full debutant, ’Dilly’.
Ambi & Dilly met over five years ago, whilst working in Asian Wedding DJ circuit. With their paths crossing more often than not, they formed a strong friendship and later partnership, allowing them to rock audiences together, all around the world.
Dilly, an established DJ with nearly ten years experience, has a deep knowledge of musical production, and with a love for the harmonium and banjo brings a wealth of influence to ‘Chanjara’.
The story of ‘Chanjara’ began in 2014, having sourced lyrics from the acclaimed Vijay Dhammi, Dilly and Ambi identified Nirmal Sidhu as the singer they felt that would do the song most justice. Nirmal, instantly impressed with the project and the ambitions of Ambi & Dilly, agreed to proceed with the track. Together they formed the now hotly anticipated release of Chanjara.
The video has been shot on location in Punjab by the exciting Jack Sarwan and is set to be released on all major music channels worldwide.
