Bollywood Superstar, Akshay Kumar, Honoured with Special Award for “Building Bridges”

Akshay made a show-stopping and spectacular entry to the awards, flying onto the stage on a skateboard gliding along a wire. He danced to the title song of his forthcoming film Singh Is Kinng as well as to past hit numbers which had the crowd pleading for more.

At the prestigious film event, Akshay Kumar was honoured with a Special Award by Thailand, the host country for this year’s IDEA IIFA Awards, for building bridges.

Akshay was also made the Ambassador of the IIFA’s Green Globe Foundation, which addresses the audience on the dangers of Global Warming that lies ahead of us, a cause that IIFA has strongly been supporting since the past year and one that is close to Akshay.
