Award winner Jaz Dhami, hits our screen once again with his 4th video release off his debut album JD with the fantastic Bari Der, directed by Jazz Virk.
Jaz Dhami has simply transformed the Asian music scene since his arrival last year, and Bari Der is set to do the same, re- scripting the old and bringing a fresh slice of authentic Desi music back to our screens.
Bar Der is set in the back drop of the Punjab, and follows the story of a young man leaving his homeland to earn money for his family in the western world.
His story is emotional as he finds it difficult coping to live away from his loved ones and he is left rekindling memories of yester years yearning for the day to be reunited with his family.
The story has a universal meaning of detachment and missing those close to your soul. Bari Der will touch everyone’s hearts with its deep felt lyrics, that gives words to feelings that sometimes cannot be defined, but are executed precisely through the tracks narrative.
Bari Der is the final video release off Jaz Dhami’s debut album JD, but there is still more to come from the new golden boy of Bhangra music, with two exciting collaborations which will be hitting our airways in the run up to summer….
