Currently in the UK for the filming of Nikhil Advani’s ‘Patiala House’, Akshay has had a welcome break from the congestion and chaos of Mumbai streets, quite an irony when Akshay’s character in his forthcoming blockbuster release ‘Khatta Meetha’ is that of a corrupt, Mumbai-based roadwork contractor.
‘Khatta Meetha’ is presented by the super comic Jodi of Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan, delivering a hilarious satire revolving around the mayhem of Mumbai’s roadworks and transport system.
Touted as Akshay’s best comic performance to date, the superstar, who recently delivered one of the biggest hits of 2010 to date with ‘Houseful’, eagerly anticpates the film’s worldwide release, guaranteeing audiences a crazy and comic ride through the streets of Mumbai.
