The Filmfare Awards are the most prestigious and most renowned awards in the Indian film industry. The Stars, Celebrities and super talents walked down the red carpet which made the evening brighter and made the ambience more beautiful. The funny and hilarious Chunky Pandey hosted the red carpet and interviewed the celebrities that walked past. On the red carpet, the veteran director, Subhash Ghai said: “It’s amazing to be part of Filmfare for years now. From the young fresh lot I would love to cast Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor and Sushant Singh Rajput. I just love them.”

The Awards were hosted by the charming Ranbir Kapoor who has already hosted this award ceremony earlier and ever glamorous Priyanka Chopra for whom it was the very first time. Both of these talented stars were  funny and witty while hosting the ceremony and also changed their costumes according to the themes. Highlights of the evening were the enthralling performances by the super-stars themselves. The ever graceful Madhuri Dixit Nene looked stunning in her performance. Ranveer Singh ended the night with his super grand finale performance.

The Baadshah of Bollywood, Shahrukh Khan missed the award function because of the recent injury that he received while shooting his upcoming film ‘Happy New Year’. But the Dabbang, Salman Khan was present and talked about his film ‘Jai Ho’ which released in the theatres today on the red carpet.
